Washington, D.C. Trip #22
I'm very excited to
announce that for the 22nd year I will sponsor a trip to Washington D.C. The
trip is tentatively scheduled for May 30th-June 2nd, 2011. I have
planned a 4 day/3 night trip. The estimated trip price is $1399
per person staying QUAD. The price to stay 2 to a room is
estimated to be $1609 per person. This price is based on 35
participants. If we do not meet our quota, the price will be slightly higher.
Students must travel with a parent or an adult who accepts responsibility for
the student. Students are encouraged to invite friends and relatives (parents,
grandparents, brothers, sisters, cousins etc.) to participate. This trip is
well organized and makes an excellent family vacation. This is not a school
sponsored trip. Each person is responsible for the entire trip cost.
Reaching our quota will keep the prices at the base rate. Encourage
friends and family to join us.
An informational meeting will be held at 5:00 pm
Wednesday, September 28th in the middle school
computer lab.
Feel free to call me or visit my website www.donnakirkland.com if you have
questions. The trip fills up quickly and operates on a first deposit
basis. Each traveler will be required to make a $150 deposit,
which will be applied to the trip cost. The balance may be paid in
installments. I will begin accepting deposits at the informational meeting.
Plan to pay the $150 deposit per person the night of the meeting
to guarantee your place. Sometimes the trip is full within 24 hours. After the
trip is filled, additional travelers must be placed on a waiting list. Check
www.donnakirkland.com for details.
The trip fee covers all of the following expenses:
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: 3 NIGHTS (Quad Occupancy)
3 BREAKFASTS AND 3 DINNERS: A buffet breakfast is usually served at the hotel. Dinner locations vary.
ROUND TRIP FLIGHT: Departure is usually from Baton Rouge

GROUP TOUR GUIDE: A guide will remain with our group during our entire stay in Washington, D.C. The guide plans our day so that we can see everything possible during our stay. Our guide gives us a "preview" of the sights of the day as we ride our chartered bus driven by a professional driver.
ROOMS: Rooms are generally blocked together. The trip fee is based on quad occupancy. You may indicate your preference of roommates. If you do not have roommates, I will try to match you with roommates. However, your final cost will be based on your rooming setup. ***You may request double occupancy for an additional fee estimated to be*If you cannot make it right at

questions and collect deposits.
